The Mosquito is here! The de Havilland 98 Mosquito, otherwise known as the "Mossie" and "The Wooden Wonder", was a British multi-role combat aircraft, first introduced in 1941. It was originally intended to be a bomber, but evolved to serve several roles from bomber, to fighter, fighter-bomber, photo-reconnaisance, and even a carrier-capable naval torpedo-bomber. At the time, The Mosquito was the fastest operation aircraft aided with twin Rolls-Royce V-12 Merlin engines, and its light frame which was primarily made of wood.
